Subject: Space Shuttle launch audio recordings
This is an absolutely incredible collection of audio recordings from my favourite rocket - the US Space Shuttle!
The stereo-sound is really fantastic and the very unique noise (produced by the two powerful SRB's of the STS) is just awesome. It really makes me happy to listen to the sound! I hope there will be more audio files like this soon for download. Especially, it would be great to have the launch audio from the missions beginning with STS-90 up to the last one (STS-135) or maybe a few good older recordings from STS-1 to STS-60 (including 51L).
I just can say: great work Mr. Klausman!
By the way, the "STS-61 Launch - Distant" is the only one, which has a big fault near the middle of the audio.
Maybe, it exist more audio files from such rocket launches in high resolution audio . . . the very best would be to have it in 24bit/96kHz or better in 4.0 or 5.1 true surround sound! This would be the Holy Grail of Space Shuttle audio recordings!
